It was at the tail end of her speech. She was speaking about how proud she was to be British and the announcer cut her off to introduce Blur. She flipped the audience the bird. When called out on it she explained that in reality she was flipping the “suits” in the audience the bird, not her fans. Because, of course, it was the suits, the execs sitting in the audience watching the show, who told the announcer to cut her off. Now don’t get me wrong. I really like Adele.
