The Secret

Cover of the Day: How to Love

I like the simplicity of this cover-- the colors all contrast perfectly against each other, and this is a book I would totally grab off of the shelf. So much better than duck faces, right? ;) ~Megan

Cover of the Day: All the Truth that's in Me

I absolutely love the creepiness of this cover. Doesn't she look like she's running for her life? Doesn't she look tired, and maybe a little scared? I love the font treatment on this too. What do you think? ~Megan

Cover of the Day: Underneath

Can I die of the awesome yet? I love the font, and the faded tones of the cover make is just look so creepy and surreal. I love the people outlines, and the way it looks like they're all falling. And is she in the sky? o.O

Cover of the Day: Man-Made Boy

I really like the font on this-- it's so freaking awesome! It's really my only reason for picking this one-- it'll turn heads like crazy. What are your thoughts? ~Megan

Cover of the Day: Three Quarters Dead

It's funny how a cover can take you back to a certain place. I had actually completely forgotten about this one, until I saw the cover by chance. I remember really liking the cover-- actually the only thing I liked. I love the font treatment, and the purple haze that's going on in the background. The girls put off a really creepy vibe too, and I really love the one on the right's peasant dress. The only thing wrong with this is the awkward poses. What do y'all think? ~Megan

Cover of the Day: Goodbye, Rebel Blue

I really like this cover-- it's so very simple. The blue text with the eye in the middle, along with the girl who looks like a rebel blue. I also really love that tagline, and how it pops in comparison to the rest of the cover. My only complaint? The author's name is kind of small. ~Megan

Cover of the Day: The Beautiful and the Cursed

I think that I like this because of the sort of gothic feel to it-- even though it's pink, it still manages to put off that vibe. I really like the title treatment (the light flare-ish thing) and that tagline rocks. My only issue is the author's name. It's a little small. What are your thoughts? ~ Megan

Cover of the Day: Burning

I really like the simplicity of this one-- it doesn't appear to be trying to hard. It looks like a light book. I do have issues with it, though. Although the font is absolutely gorgeous, I wish that there had been a little more color-- the tagline kind of blends in. Otherwise, though, this is very pretty! What are your thoughts? -Megan

Cover of the Day: Mothership

I really like this cover-- I'm really not sure why, though. I think it looks really unique, but I don't like that the authors' names are so hard to find! I do love the purple tint, though, and the pregnant teenager on the front-- it seems to fit with the book. I also like the weird gun thing. LOL. What are your thoughts? ~Megan

Cover of the Day: The Coldest Girl in Coldtown

Some people were really disappointed by this cover, but I think it works. The weird hand with the tattoo that kind of bleeds into everything else, and monopolizes the cover, the plain background. I think that they work together to form a nice cover. What are your thoughts? (: -Megan

Cover of the Day: The Brides of Rollrock Island

Most of the reason that I'm so in love with this cover can be attributed to the fact that I just read this, and it was absolutely fabulous. The cover just fits . I love the font-- and how it just seems to match the water color below. I also really love the girl's pose-- which I know, is weird! But she is embodying the seal-wives, and it's absolutely perfect. What do you think? ~Megan

Cover of the Day: Red

I think that the reason I like this cover is the girls' hair. They all have red hair, and I think it ties into the title nicely! ;D ~Megan

Cover of the Day: The Brokenhearted

I just have two words for this cover-- crazy awesome. Crazy because that heart is obviously made out of spare parts-- one piece looks like an old movie projector reel, and another kind of looks like a gas gauge. And check out that power button in the middle!! Totally awesome, if I do say so myself. (And I do!) Awesome because I think that robotics and cybernetic humans are underdone in YA books, and this looks like it has a little of both! (: What do you think about that?

Cover of the Day: Acid

Check that. It's absolutely fabulous! I love how her hair is matched to the background/fire, and that the title is just so shiny looking! She looks totally kick butt, don't you think?

Cover of the Day: The Symptoms of My Insanity

I don't think that I really have to describe my love for this cover...I mean, look how unique it is! ;) What are your thoughts?

Cover of the Day: Ink

In a perfect world, this would be the kind of cover that I would want to see all the time. Look at it for a second-- I love the little Japanese cherry blossoms that are incorporated into the design all over, and I like how it looks like it was painted with watercolors. Something about her face is a bit off-putting (maybe her lips are too large?), but overall the effect is awesome. My only real complaint is that the author's name is too small. What are YOUR thoughts?

Cover of the Day: Breadcrumbs

I LOVE this cover-- it's just too cute. The font is very nice, and the cartoonish aspect is spectacular. Middlegrade rules. What are your thoughts?

Cover of the Day: Waiting for You

Okay guys, I'm so sorry that I missed last week. I didn't mean to, but I didn't realize until Wednesday. By then it was too late. Anywho, I just love this cover. It communicates a really cute contemporary feel, complete with the classic car and all around classic dress. It's adorable, right? I really like the title font, and the author's name isn't too small at all. I think that the only issue that I have with this cover is those light spots. I mean, I like them, but they're also kind of distracting. You know what I mean? What do YOU think of this cover?

Cover of the Day: Awkward

It's still Tuesday, right? o_O I'm late, I'm late, for a very important date! Sorry I took so long. Anywho, I totally dig the doodles on this cover, and the pencil font for the title--very pretty. But I'm not very interested in the Youtube video thing. Oh well.
