The Secret

US vs. UK: Looking For Alaska

If you're a John Green fan (and there seems to be a lot of those out there) this should be a book you can recognize easily. One thing I really like is that, even while these covers are completely different in style, they both have the dramatic black background. Individually, I don't like the US cover too much —it's a little dull for my taste. Even though the UK cover is similarly simplistic, it's definitely my favorite of the two. Which is your favorite?

Cover of the Day: Splintered

Splintered by A.G. Howard      What is there to not like about this book's cover? The green is so vibrant as the back drop and the other colors are popping out with a drastic contrast! And with this being an Alice in Wonderland re-tellings, all the bugs and vines that are scattered throughout the cover make it even more gorgeous. Last but not least, I love the font that the title is in. It fits right in with the withering of all the vines and things! So what do you think?  Love it, like it, or hate it? -Nikki H.

Cover of the Day: Trapped

Trapped by Michael Northrop This cover is another one I love just because of my snow obsession. Look how beautiful falling snow is! I just adore it, and how the designer handled it with its title—sitting in the snow like it's part of the landscape. I love how, when adding the title and author's name, they kept to the muted colors already part of the picture. I think it gives it a gorgeous effect. Your thoughts?

Cover Love: Fallen Too Far Series

FALLEN TOO FAR : To want what you’re not supposed to have… She is only nineteen. She is his new stepfather’s daughter. She is still naïve and innocent due to spending the last three years taking care of her sick mother. But for twenty-four year old Rush Finlay, she is the only thing that has ever been off limits. His famous father’s guilt money, his mother’s desperation to win his love, and his charm are the three reasons he has never been told no. She isn’t prepared for the lifestyle change and she knows she’ll never fit into this world. Then there is her sexy stepbrother who her father leaves her with for the summer while he runs off to Paris with his wife. Rush is as spoiled as he is gorgeous. He is also getting under her skin. She knows he is anything but good for her and that he’ll never ...

Cover of The Day: Mortal Fire

Mortal Fire by Elizabeth Knox Absolutely gorgeous. Did you notice all the bees coming circling the girl's face and the cover? It is mysterious but so unique. The blend of the colors is amazing and I love the title's font. The way it feels like the title is moving. The author's name has a really good place, too. this cover is done professionally and artfully.  Loved it. What do you think? - Soma
