The Secret

Cover of the Day: No One Else Can Have You

This is one of the most unique covers I've ever seen! When I first saw this I had so many questions! And now I just want to read it more than ever. I love the way it looks like an old school sweater that you would be embarrassed to read in public. I also love how one of the reindeer (Moose?) is hung . It shows that the book will be a thriller and in my mind its telling me to expect some crazy things to happen. And with the title, it makes it even more creepy! I can't wait to read this!

Cover Of The Day: The Best of Us

The Best of Us by Sarah Pekkanen I love the red sideline of this cover, and it definitely fits with the font of the title. But the thing i LOVE the most about this cover is the cover itself.I mean, look at the beach, the trees, the whole relaxing moment,it's AMAZING-looking and it captures you right now! It's that exciting. It looks like the perfect summer read, i hope it is! What do you think? - Soma
Title: Waiting on the Sidelines Author: Ginger Scott Rating: 5/5 Published: April 14, 2013 Summary:  Nolan Lennox had things figured out. Named after a baseball legend, she enjoyed being the Tomboy, her closet filled with her brother’s hand-me-downs, cut-off jeans and soccer shorts. But when her first trip to high school results in a broken heart from the first boy to ever make her heart flutter and cruel words from an older girl she once thought a family friend, Nolan starts to question the very person she thought she was and wonders if her humble upbringing can compete with the afforded luxuries of her privileged peers.  Throughout the next four years, Nolan struggles to maintain herself throughout her path of discovery, learning just how cruel teenagers can be through the pressures of underage drinking, sexuality and class. And despite how life seems to continue to work against her, she still manages to listen to her heart, falling deeper and deeper for the guy the entire t...

Cover of the Day: Side Effects May Vary

Side Effects May Vary by Julie Murphy            What I love most about this cover is the font and the different colors of the title against the black background. It makes it look like a super fun book, but reading the synopsis you see that its actually about something very serious. I also love the little pictures that are featured on and next to the words. It gives a clue as to what some of the things she wants to do. I'm curious as to how those things (and all the others) end up! Lastly, the tagline?! Tell me that doesn't sound intriguing!!!!  So what do you think?  Love it, like it, or hate it? -Nikki H

Cover of the Day: The Geography of You and Me by Jennifer E. Smith

I love that this cover is like her other ones with the black, white, and gray theme and then having another color to make it pop even more. Especially the blue stars! I love that this one has more black and the blue is like electric which is really pretty together. And of course, the couple canoodling there on the sky line is nice to look at too. As far as the font, I love everything about it. How big it is, the colors, and that it matches the other books by her. Here's to another pretty book to add to my shelf!

Review of Notes to Self

Notes to Self by Avery Sawyer My rating: 5 of 5 stars Provided  by the author for review. Two climbed up. Two fell down. One woke up. In the aftermath of a traumatic brain injury, Robin Saunders has to relearn who she is and find out what happened the night everything changed. Well written,Laura-Avery-or whatever she would like me to refer to her as, has created a novel worth reading at least once and I will most definatly re-read this one when I am not on such a tight schedule and am trying to review all of the books authors are sending me in a reasonible amount of time. So if you are an author and you have asked me to do a review, give me time, I am a busy gal-most of the time and I wont break my promise it will be reviewed.   So it begin with the night of the accident, Robin and Emily both falling off the roof of the Slingshot. All 30 feet of it.How both of them did not die immediately beats me but o well. So, Robin wakes up in a hospital with VERY little remembrance ...
