The Secret

Cover of the Day: Goodbye, Rebel Blue

I really like this cover-- it's so very simple. The blue text with the eye in the middle, along with the girl who looks like a rebel blue. I also really love that tagline, and how it pops in comparison to the rest of the cover. My only complaint? The author's name is kind of small. ~Megan

Cover of the Day: Untold

Untold by Sarah Rees Brennan I LOVE the title's font. I don't usually see that sort of style, but it totally works. And the background looks really mysterious. The second I saw this, I just knew I  had to read the blurb. It's pretty awesome :) So what do you think?

Cover of the Day: Unhinged by A.G. Howard

Unhinged by A.G. Howard      What can I say besides the fact that this cover is absolutely gorgeous?! The blue and purple are soooooo pretty together and the green gives it that extra pop. The moth that played a huge part in the first part of this story is back and lets us know exactly who this character is. But my favorite part of the cover is all the small details, like the bugs and tattoo on his face. They give it so much more "umph."  So what do you think?  Love it, like it, or hate it? -Nikki H.

Cover of the Day: Faerie After

Faerie After by Janni Lee Simner   I love all of the covers in this series because of how simple they are. I love how there's just one image in the center of this cover, and I love the way it looks against the black background. And I love the title font! I think that the part that says "Book 3..." would look better at the bottom of the cover, but aside from that, I really like this one. :)   Whatdya think?   -Amanda B.

Cover of the Day: The Beautiful and the Cursed

I think that I like this because of the sort of gothic feel to it-- even though it's pink, it still manages to put off that vibe. I really like the title treatment (the light flare-ish thing) and that tagline rocks. My only issue is the author's name. It's a little small. What are your thoughts? ~ Megan

Cover of the Day: Outcast

Outcast by Adrienne Kress Ever since I laid eyes on this beauty, I've been infatuated. I love the starry background, it's so dreamy-like. I also love the way the characters are on a motorcycle (brownie points for the cool touch) and the moon is behind them. Besides, the wings behind the title looks amazing! :) What do you think?

Cover of the Day: How my Summer Went Up in Flames

How My Summer Went Up in Flames by Jennifer Salcato Doktorski      I like this cover because it looks so interesting! The title says something about flames and the chick is holding a gas can as if she is purposefully going to light something on fire. I also like the font; its whimsical and fun. It gives a humorous look to a not so funny situation.  So what do you think?  Love it, like it, or hate it? -Nikki H.

Cover of the Day: Inheritance

Inheritance by Malinda Lo I find this cover very interesting to look at. I can't really describe why I like it, I just do!  LOVE the vibrant blue, and the glass wall with her reflection in it, so cool.  Love it? Like it? Hate it? Let me know!

Cover of the Day: The Toadhouse Trilogy

The Toadhouse Trilogy by Jess Lourey The colors are definitely what makes this book stand out! They make the cover really eye-catching and pretty. I like the subtle things in the background like the book next to the girl and the bad-guy's face above her. I like the placement and the font of the title too! Whatdya think? -Amanda B.

Cover of The Day: Going Vintage

Going Vintage by Lindsey Leavitt Well, this cover attracted my attention because of the bright coloring. I loved the pink-tiled floor and the bright green sofas. They capture you at first sight. I also loved how the whole cover is vintage, the things that that surround the girl are all vintage and connect to the title nicely. I also liked the font of both the title and the author's name. But they could have been done differently, in a more beautiful way. What are your thoughts? - Soma

Cover of the Day: Burning

I really like the simplicity of this one-- it doesn't appear to be trying to hard. It looks like a light book. I do have issues with it, though. Although the font is absolutely gorgeous, I wish that there had been a little more color-- the tagline kind of blends in. Otherwise, though, this is very pretty! What are your thoughts? -Megan

Cover of the Day: The Fall

The Fall by  Claire Merle I just really love how simple this cover is. The star with barbwire feels like it could be very meaningful and I like simple covers with symbols on them.  Besides, aren't you curious? If you see this cover with that saying at the top, wouldn't you instantly pick it up and read the summary? I know I would. :) So what do you think?

Cover of the Day: Vicious by Victoria Schwab

Vicious by V.E. Schwab       I like this cover because it has a cartoon like feel to it. And the color scheme is amazing too. It makes it look dark and dreary. I really want to know who this man is too because he looks powerful overlooking the city. I also like the font that the title and the author's name is in. They both make it stand out from the rest of the cover but it doesn't take anything from the rest of the cover either.  So what do you think?  Love it, like it, or hate it? -Nikki H.

Cover of the Day: This Song Will Save Your Life

This Song Will Save Your Life by Leila Sales Not only do I like this cover but I really love the title, it's so powerful. Now it could just be that I'm extremely slow, but it wasn't until I had been looking at it for a few minutes that I noticed the pink letters spell out LOVE. All in all I think it's an interesting cover that would grab my attention on store shelves. Love it? Like it? Hate it? Let me know!

Cover of the Day: Fearless

Fearless by Cornelia Funke I love the colors of this book cover (especially the foggy blue in the background)! I like the swirlies around the edges, but they don't quite  flow right with the rest of the cover. Same with the title font. I love the placement and how it stands out, but it isn't quite right. The creepy silhouette made out of the moths is definitely my favorite part of this cover! Whatdya think? -Amanda B.

Cover of The Day: Unnatural Creatures

Unnatural Creatures , stories selected by Neil Gaiman I love the black feel of this story. It gives off a very creepy vibe and the little curves and the sketches on the sides of the cover are amazing. I cannot wait to know what they mean to the stories in the book. I also LOVE the title's font. It fits the vibe of the story and the name of the author (or in this case, collector) is given justice, too. I liked this a lot but it is a bit too dull, at the same time. I guess that's the author's intention. What are YOUR thoughts? - Soma

Cover of the Day: The Dollhouse Asylum by Mary Gray

The Dollhouse Asylum by Mary Gray      When I first saw this cover, I was completely shocked! I love the font that the title and author's name is in. I also love the girl's expression and the way she's cracking and chipping away. It gives a little insight as to what the story may be about and how the title ties in. Especially since the colors on her lips, cheeks, and her eye color along with the chipping make her look like a real life doll.  So what do you think?  Love it, like it, or hate it? -Nikki H.

Cover of the Day: Freak Boy

Freak Boy by Kristin Elizabeth Clark I just saw this cover for the first time yesterday and fell in love! I really like the blue color palette they used and how the shape of the body is created from the broken fragments of glass. Another thing I really like is how the title has been treated with two different fonts that really contradict one another, as well as the title itself.  Love it? Like it? Hate it? Let me know in the comments!

Cover Of The Day: Mystic

Mystic by Alyson Noel I absolutely love the color, the ocean blue. The way it swirls around the cover is amazingly beautiful and enchanting. I love the font of the title and how the "y" is written. The background, the waterfall is really beautiful. Also loved the cut of the dress of the model and the way she is holding her hair, or pushing it away. Her dress is gorgeous What are your thoughts? - Soma

Cover of the Day: Mothership

I really like this cover-- I'm really not sure why, though. I think it looks really unique, but I don't like that the authors' names are so hard to find! I do love the purple tint, though, and the pregnant teenager on the front-- it seems to fit with the book. I also like the weird gun thing. LOL. What are your thoughts? ~Megan

I'm sorry.
