News Update

WEll usually I have to ask authors for interviews or to review there books but in a course of a week I have got 2 requests  for me to review there book(s)  and you know me  I cant turn down the oppurtunity to try books that are different from what I usually read. One of them are " episodes" and they have to do with Sicilian Valley and computers so that's definitely different from the usual teen romances I read so i really cant wait to start on the series and then a middle school novel about dragons so I cant wait to read both of them. :) You people are great..

Interview with M. Leighton

1) Who is your favorite author at the moment? I don’t know if I have a favorite. There are so many good ones, so many good series I’m hooked on. 2) First time to fall in love with a book? I was probably 15 or 16 and the book was The Wolf and the Dove by Kathleen Woodiwiss. It’s an amazing historical romance that got me hooked on love for life. 3) Where did you get your ideas for your characters like,Bo , Ridley, Ec...? They come to me as if I’m meeting them for the first time at a coffee shop or something. I meet them and then, little by little, learn what makes them tick as I write about them. My writing process is truly bizarre in that I do very little planning. I just let my mind wander and, for the most part, the books write themselves. 4) Favorite character from any book, who would it be? Grandma Mazur from Janet Evanovich’s Stephanie Plum novels. That woman is as crazy as she is old and funny. 5) Do you have a most obsessed fan? LOL I don’t know that I would...

Review of Grounded

Title: Grounded Author: Constance Sharper Publisher:  Constance Sharper (Indie) Source: Bought for my Nook on release day Rating:  5/5 Nooks       At last, Avery thought that she had made it back to a normal high school life-- except for the death threats on her head and the harpie in her backyard. Trouble never stays far away though, and Mikhail hatches a plan that endangers life as she knows it. Avery is drawn back into a vicious harpie war and is finally forced to confront her relationship with Mason whether she is ready to or not.   Grounded. I  felll in love with the sequel to Airborne. Yet, even more I fell in love with this book I fell in love with two male Harpies. Patrick the playboy and Mason, Avery's addiction. Okay, so when I said Avery's  addiction, I  meant my addiction.  I kept imagining me in Avery's place when kissing Mason and that one little kiss with Patrick. Lets put it this way: Constance Sharper has made...

Odd Fact Daily Pig decorated rooms...

When I was 7, i went through a pig stage so my room was decorated in dancing pig portraits... Its still here today.   Yes, its true. My room hasnt been redecorated for some years but I finally got my mother to at least let me get rid of these pig pictures . Just give me time I will have it decorated better but it will keep this awful pink color. NO matter how much I beg, Momma said someone else is going to be in this room when I move out.

Interview with Angela Morrison

1) Do you cry when you read a sad book?  Always, always, always. I'm the biggest cry baby around. 2) Who inspired you to use words to create a story? I stink at telling stories with pictures. I fell in love with writing as soon as I learned how to draw my letters, combine them into words and sentences.  I've been trying the tell stories with them ever since. I'm stronger at creating beautiful sentences than telling compelling stories. It's important to be good at both. 3) Who is your favorite author at the moment My favorite current YA author has got to be Markus Zusak. Whenever I feel like I need an artistic tune-up, I reread THE BOOK THIEF. A workshop with him changed the way I write! 4) Did you cry when you were creating your story of Sing Me to Sleep?  I cried so much I kept having to stop and dry off the keyboard. I still cry when I reread it. It means a lot to me. I'm touched when I hear from so many readers who've taken it in to their hearts. 5) Did you h...

Disney World Part One

When you go on a vacation to Disney World never EVER try to impersonate a French person, even if it was an accident! When you go to Epcot with your family to eat Le Chef de France, and take your sister who has shoes that squeek so my Mother can keep up with her. You take her by the hand when she yells loudly "I gotta pee". My left hand comes up and hits my face while I thought Momma, just take her to the bathroom before I permantly turn red. But oh no , Momma isnt done with her Creme brulae (no idea how to spell) so she makes me take the baby who is singing by then,   I gotta pee, I gotta pee....       So I am forced to take Maya's hand and take her to the bathroom where she refused to urinate once we reached our location. So I take her hand once again while my parents are paying for the food we go to leave when this french waiter walks by and you folk knowing me, I almost ran into him while Maya said-yell "Excuse me"  and I said it also, except...

Disney World

Well I went to Disney World in Orlando for a week.. It was eventful and I guess fun. I will post more later. Lets say it had alot to do with impersonating a french person and seeing a little more than i needed to in a hotel room window.
